I love being a part of the Stampin' Up team - not just for the joy of sharing what I love, but also because of the friendships I have made. I would love to welcome you as a member of my team and to be able to include you in my family of happy Stampin' Up demonstrators that I call my Duckie Downlines.
Is crafting a big part of your life? Wouldn't you love to earn money while doing something you enjoy? How about the convenience of setting your own hours? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, then Stampin' Up! is the perfect opportunity for you.
You may have some questions....
1. How much does it cost?
Your starter kit costs £99. For that, you can choose up to £130 of
product from any current catalogue. Stampin’ Up have created a suggested list,
but the choice of product is entirely up to you and you can tailor it depending
on what you already have and what you want to do as a demonstrator.
If you want to, you can book a party and use your stampin’ rewards
towards your starter kit.
2. What do Stampin’ Up require from me?
If you are going to continue as a demonstrator beyond your first full
quarter, then you will need to place orders totalling around £270 at catalogue
prices, every quarter. These orders can be items from your personal wishlist;
supplies for projects you sell; supplies for classes; orders from customers;
gifts you buy for others…. anything except business supplies (e.g. catalogues,
order forms).
If at any time you decide that you no longer are able to continue as a
demonstrator, there will be no requests to return product or any penalties from
Stampin’ Up. You will always be welcomed as a valued customer by me and able to
attend my classes and to place orders with me.
3. Can I really make money at this?
Yes, you certainly can. How much you earn depends on how much time you
want to put into it. You can just use your discount to help fund your hobby, or
you can build a full time business - or anywhere in between. Some demonstrators
run events and classes. Some create projects that they sell. Others run their
business completely online with blogs and you tube videos. Your business is
shaped by you, your interests and your dreams.
You get commission on your sales, whether they are for yourself or
others. This starts at 20%, but rises to 25% as you progress.
As you build your business you can also earn money on the volume of
product you sell and commissions on your team’s sales.
If you run classes, either in person or online, you can collect class
fees.
4. Do I have to recruit and build a team?
It certainly isn’t mandatory, but why would you not want to share
something you love. If you are looking to build a business, it is something you
will probably want to consider at some point, but you never have to do any of
it alone.
5. If I want to run events, how do I know what to do?
Whatever you decide to do as part of your business, you are never alone, there
is always lots of help, support and guidance.
