At the Monday afternoon group a few weeks ago, we concentrated on creating cards with a spotlight theme. There is some small areaof the card that is highlighted by its difference to its surroundings.
We have a fish peeping through the sea weed from a punched hole.
The moon shining through the trees -thanks to another punched hole and the image stamped onto "So saffron" card which was lined up behind
An image stamped, tone on tone, in "crumb cake" ink, with a spotlight of colour layered over the top.
This time a riot of autumnal leaves with a spotlight of black and white
This is a spotlight created from a negative image. Instead of bermuda bay ink stamped on white, we have the image stamped and embossed with white embossing powder on bermuda bay card.
Table built using Product Table Builder by The Crafty Owl - Independent Stampin'
Up! Demonstrator.
I hope you will give this technique a try and have fun with your stamp sets.
