Getting tidy to get messy

I have spent most of the day today tidying and sorting my craft room and trying to create more storage space. We are getting there gradually. Some bits have gone up in the attic, some have been recycled or binned and there is just a pile of books to sort and then the floor to hoover.

So having spent the day getting tidy the obvious thing to do this evening was to spend some time getting messy. So armed with some small canvas boards, some white acrylic paint and my pack of stampin' inks in the bright colours, I set about doing just that.
The "Create with Cake" workshop on Wednesday this week is a seaside themed mini canvas. We have quite a few stamp sets on a sea theme, so I created a couple of different ones using similar colours.

This one uses the "By the tide" and for the other example I have made, I used the fun "Sea Street" set

Table built using Product Table Builder by The Crafty Owl - Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

I haven't made it as far as the seaside yet this year - a fact that makes me very sad, because I love the sea. There is nothing quite like sand between your toes and a paddle in the sea. Last year I even got to share a beach with some sheep on the beautiful Isle of Mull

Well having made a mess, it is time to do a little bit more tidying up before bedtime.

Check out details of all my classes on the tab at the top. And whilst you are doing a tour of my page, check in on this weeks weekly deals and don't forget the fabulous offer on the Big Shot and the stamp and die bundles.
You can find it in my online shop here

Whatever you do this weekend, have fun
