Filling in the background

We had great fun at a recent Monday afternoon group stamping our own background papers and then using them to create cards.

This vision in yellow and orange was created with flowers from the "Flower patch" set. The greeting was created with the "Crazy about you" stamp set and "Hello You" thinlits.

This card also used the "Flower Patch" set, but this time using the leaves and foliage and stamping them in  a variety of greens, I added a bird created from the bird builder punch and the sentiment again came from the "Crazy about You" stamp set. This is such a  versatile collection of sentiments.

Shade of purple this time. The tiny flower was from the "Flower Patch" the larger one from "petite petals", the stamped butterflies from "Papillion Potpourri" (how can anyone live without this stamp set - it was one of my first and still one of my favourites). The die cut butterfly was a "Bold butterfly" thinlit. It was finished with some now retired Backberry Bliss ribbon and some rhinestones for added bling.

Finally off to the seaside -  Tip top taupe, Mint Macraron and Delightful Dijon is the colour palette. "By the tide" is the stamp set. The greeting was once again created with the "Crazy about you" stamp set and "Hello You" thinlits.

What a great way to spend a Monday afternoon. We are always looking for people to join us.
